The Magic of Tadao Ando

I just wanted to share my love and admiration for the work of Tadao Ando, the famous minimalist architect. I have personally experienced his work in the Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth and the Vitra Conference Pavilion. I find the utter serenity and contemplatitve quality of his spaces very inspiring and re-vitalizing. I certainly cannot explain it but being there was a remarkable experience to me every time and I did not want to leave.

I sometimes think about how my designs would look in his spaces.

I have some pictures of the two above mentioned locations (please see below). I also have a wonderful book about his house designs: “Tadao Ando: Houses” by Philip Jodidio – it is really beautifully done.
